Leicester City 0910 Opponents Part 4
This is now my fourth feature on Leicester City opponents in the 09/10 season. We now move onto four new teams. This blog will include Peterborough, Plymouth, Preston and QPR.PeterboroughPeterborough along with Leicester and Scunthorpe are one of three teams to get promoted from League 1 to the Championship this season. This could be a very hard season for Peterborough, as they could well struggle in League 1. However they have a great manager in Darren Ferguson and a decent squad, which could see them at least finish in a mid-table place. On the other hand the Patrick Ewing JerseyStrikers choice is worrying with only Mackail-Smith and McLean to choose from basically. They do have other Strikers like Ben Wright, Rene Howe and Scott Rendell. However one or two of them will struggle to find goals in the Championship and two of them might be shipped out on loan. Peterborough has made some good signings already this summer. They have signed Tommy Rowe from Stockport, Diagouraga from Hereford and Krystian Pearce on loan from Birmingham. Overall Peterborough really needs to sign Strikers if they want to stay in the Coca Cola Championship. If they dont they could awfully struggle.PlymouthPlymouth under Paul Sturrock could also struggle in the Championship again this season. They were one of the favourites for the drop last season and they will defiantly be one of the favourites again in 09/10. They have very good players inWayne Ellington Jersey there squad but they just have to perform. The permanent signing of Carl Fletcher could be a vital one this season. The signing of Bradley Wright-Phillips could also be vital, as Plymouth will look for goals from himall season. Also the likes of Ashley Barnes and Jamie Mackie are players to watch for Plymouth in 09/10. Plymouth needs to up the anti if they want to stay in this division. They have got very good players but they need to perform,ifthey dont Plymouth will be relegated this season.PrestonPreston had a very good season last year and they hope of more of the same in 09/10. There impre sive season couldhave just been a one off, with the league getting even tougher with the likes of Newcastle and Middlesbrough in it, Preston could finish in a mid-table place. It could proveWillis Reed Jersey too hard for Preston this season if they want a play-off place again. On the other hand Alan Irvine is one of the best managers in the League and could well manage Preston for yetRJ Barrett Jersey again another succe sful season. The likes of JonParkin, Ro s Wallace, Neil Mellor and Sean St Ledger need to perform well again this season if they want to bring Preston succe s. Its going to be a tougher task this season for Preston. However they havegot a brilliant squad which could well get them another play-off place in May.QPRQPR start another season with another manager, as they try to find succe s at last in the Championship in 09/10. Managers are coming and going at Loftus Road and this time its Jim Magilton turn to put things right. With a squad which should do better QPR need to sign more players for the upcoming season if they want to get promoted that is. The Hoops were able tomake some very good loan signings last year which helped them a lot in the latter stages of the season. However they have allCharles Oakley Jersey gone now and QPR need to perform well with the squad they have got. Mikele Leigertwood and Wayne Routledge will be key players in the midfield for QPR this season. Also Strikers Dexter Blackstock, Patrick Agyemang and Heider Helguson need to find goals this season if they want The Hoops to do well. Overall this could be a very good season or a very disappointing season for QPR.
