Ahead of the Six Invitational 2025 Grand Final between FaZe Clan and Team BDS, Ubisoft revealed the name for Year 10 Season 1 and unveiled a new teaser for Rainbow Six Siege X, along with the introduction of a brand-new operator, Rauora.
Rauora is a two-speed, two-health attacker who comes equipped with the D.O.M. Launcher. This device allows her to temporarily block doors, creating a tactical advantage for attackers. By shooting the D.O.M. Launcher at a door, Rauora deploys a barricade system, which can be triggered by both attackers and defenders by shooting at a target on the device. The gates open or close faster for attackers, making it easier to breach and modify bomb sites.
While Rauora's gadget offers new strategic opportunities, it also has counters. Jäger’s ADS system can intercept the D.O.M. Launcher projectiles if they fly close to his range, neutralizing the threat.
In addition to her gadget, Rauora also brings a new secondary weapon: the MK2 Machine Pistol. For primary weapons, she has access to the M249 LMG and the 417 Marksman Rifle, as well as Smoke Grenades and Breaching Charges to round out her utility.
