Analyst Blendi Fevziu has reacted through an article regarding the debate on the housing of Afghans in Albania. Fevziu writes that we must shelter the Afghans, not because NATO or the USA is asking for it, but because we are a country that is in debt with immigration. "We must wait for the threatened Afghans because suffering under one of the most criminal regimes in the world, such as the communist one, we know very well what their future is if they remain there. They are today's Kabul elite. We know more clearly than anyone the end of those few educated and emancipated people, which is similar to the fate of many intellectuals in 1945 until 1990 in Albania. From Blendi Fevziu- Following the news at 15:30, I was very surprised by the debate regarding the arrival in Albania of a contingent of Afghans who are threatened by the Taliban regime that entered Kabul today. I was even more surprised by the fact that the Albanian political class justifies itself with the idea that NATO and the USA have asked for this; or that social networks are being filled with derogatory photos of the Taliban with Kalashnikovs in hand.
