During a road show (a tour of the regions), the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment visited Kazan, where on October 25-26 it held a program to educate children, parents and teachers about the risks and protection measures on the Internet. The Alliance, together with information security experts from Kaspersky Lab, Beeline and MegaFon, the Russian public organization "Movement of the First", developed two areas: educational activities for children and teenagers, lectures and master classes on digital security and tools for combating Internet threats for parents and teachers.
A business program was also held with the participation of Alliance experts, representatives of government agencies and businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan and public organizations.
"Today, children and teenagers content writing service spend an average of five hours a day online. Each of them comes across a variety of content. Of course, it will not be possible to completely protect against virtual dangers. Therefore, we decided to engage in even more effective prevention so that children develop immunity to negative phenomena on the Internet through digital hygiene," said Timur Suleimanov, head of the regional branch of the "Movement of the First."

The Tatarstan authorities are confident that the digital future has already arrived. "We expect that following the event, teenagers and parents will formulate for themselves why a list of rules is necessary for safe use of the Internet and what digital hygiene should be," said Rinat Sadykov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, at the meeting.

IT companies – members of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment are actively working on creating a set of preventive protection measures based on big data, profiling, predictive analytics and continuous monitoring of dangerous content, the Alliance Chairperson Elizaveta Belyakova told RSpectr.
The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairperson of the National Parents' Committee Irina Volynets noted that the Alliance is fulfilling an important mission, which includes not only the creation of new requirements to ensure the safety of the younger generation on the Internet, but also serious educational work.
