Claude Makelele is a 35-year old defensive midfielder with Congolese descent. He started his career in 1992 in France, with Nantes (1992-1997) and Marseille (1997/98) Ed Davis Jersey being the two French clubs that he played for. In 1998, he moved to Spain where he played for Celta Vigo (1998-2000) and for dream club Real Madrid (2000-2003). After Spain, Claude moved Joe Ingles Jersey to the Premiership, joining Ru sian-owned giants Chelsea for 16.8 million. Here he won the Premiership twice, in 2005 and 2006, the League Cup twice, in 2005 and 2007, the 2005 Community Shield, and the 2007 FA Cup. He was part of the team that lost to Manchester United in the 2007/08 Moscow Champions League Final. For France, Makelele made his debut on the 22nd July 1995 against Norway. Until before the Euro Karl Malone Jersey 2008 preparation matches, Makelele has appeared 65 times for France in a long career that is coming to an end. At the age of 35, Claude feels that it is time to hang Justin Wright-Foreman Jersey up his boots in international football, and he has made up his mind to retire after Euro 2008.
