Gloves, Boots, and Pants (Fifth Priority)
While Gloves, Boots, and Pants are important for any character in Diablo 4, they generally play a secondary role compared to other pieces of gear like Weapons or Amulets. These armor pieces typically provide defensive stats and can offer some offensive bonuses, but they don’t provide the same level of power as the core pieces. That being said, they are still essential for optimizing your character’s build.
Here’s why these items are a lower priority for upgrading:
1. Gloves: Offensive Utility and Stat Boosts
Why Upgrade: Gloves are an important piece of gear, offering a balance of offensive utility and Diablo 4 Items defensive boosts. However, their primary role is to complement your overall damage output by providing smaller but helpful bonuses.
What to Look For:
Crit Chance: For damage-focused builds, increasing your Crit Chance is essential to maximize your DPS. This stat can significantly improve your output in both regular and boss fights.
Cooldown Reduction: Reducing the cooldown of key abilities can help you deal more damage or use critical utility skills more often. If your build relies on abilities with long cooldowns, this stat can be incredibly valuable.
Resource Generation: Resource generation or Resource Cost Reduction helps maintain a consistent flow of abilities, preventing you from running out of resources during crucial moments.
Lucky Hit Chance: Increasing your Lucky Hit Chance can synergize with various abilities or aspects that benefit from lucky hits (such as generating resource or applying debuffs).
When to Upgrade: Only upgrade gloves when they offer useful offensive stats such as Crit Chance, Cooldown Reduction, or Lucky Hit Chance that align with your character’s build. Otherwise, they can be left to a later stage, as their effect is less pronounced than weapons or cheap Diablo IV Items rings.
