Knowing this is of utmost importance because prolonged exposure to this metal can cause irreversible damage to the neurological development of children, affecting their IQ, learning ability and behavior. It is in this context that socially responsible companies such as Clarios intervene to reduce the rates of exposure to this element. Through the Clarios Foundation, a strategic alliance has been established with Pure Earth , an organization recognized internationally for its philanthropic work aimed at effective solutions in relation to lead and other heavy metals.
Together, these organizations have developed various programs and campaigns in Mexico and around the world to address problems arising from lead exposure.
